My Philosophy to Wedding Photography
I offer a full day wedding photography service at a very affordable rate. I really don’t like the idea of doing a 2-hour wedding shoot and then leaving. I don’t think it offers value for money. It also offers very little scope for creativity. The way I see it, I can only shoot one wedding in a day, so I’ll devote my whole day to your Special Day.
I believe weddings can be fun. It’s often the case that the wedding day is so stressful, that you forget to enjoy it. By the end of the day you’re thinking, “I’m glad that’s over with!”. My aim is to capture the images that remind you of exactly how much fun you had, so that they live long in your memory.
I shoot the glamour shots and the traditional group shots too, but I’m always looking for new ideas of how to bring a little humor into the photographs. A little willingness from the guests to be humorous too, always helps.
Most of all, I aim to provide the best value for money that you can get from a wedding photographer. A photographer’s role is not just about taking beautiful photographs. It’s also about entertainment value and he will also be responsible for much of the organization on the day.
So what’s included in your package?
In Brief you get:
A FREE pre-wedding shoot one week before your wedding day.

Any help and advice on tap that I can help you with.

One day’s photo processing.
And your choice of edited, expertly finished, photos on CDs.
You can also add to your package, priced separately:

Mini guest copies of the photo-book. (Very popular as a gift for your bridesmaids and ushers and best man as a thank you.)
Framed Prints or canvas prints
Or have your prints presented in attractive cardboard mounts in a photo-box.
Why do I do Free Pre-Wedding Shoot?
I offer a free Pre-wedding shoot about one week before the wedding which I pretty much insist on.
There is nothing worse than turning up for a wedding shoot only to find out that the bride or groom can’t pose for toffee. I can’t fix everything on the day of the wedding. It’s too late by then. I just have to shoot it as it is to my best ability.
By doing a pre-wedding shoot, I can give you some posing guidance and we can sort out any posing difficulties you may have. In this way we can get to know and trust each other and maybe establish a bit of a rapport.
Any posing difficulties you may have which we cannot fix on the day, you can take away with you and practice in front of the mirror together. This will help me to capture the very best images possible in the shortest possible time on your Wedding Day. I want you both to look fantastic on the day with the minimum of fuss and stress. I would hate to have to fill your photo-book with stiff and starchy images.
A Typical Days Wedding Shoot
So what might be included in a typical days Wedding Photography?
I like to start the day with the bride getting ready shots.
This includes the detail shots of the wedding dress, the shoes, the flowers, the artistic glamour shots of the bride, etc.
Also taking time to photograph the bridesmaids and the brides mother and father.
Then it’s off to the church to photograph the Groom and the Best Man, and the Grooms Mother and Father of course and some of the guests.
Not forgetting the arrival of the bridesmaids and the arrival of the bride herself.
I will then shoot the ceremony (without using flash).
This is followed by the confetti shots and the group shots, which I shoot in my own inimitable style, bringing with me as much fun as I can.
Then off to do the intimate shots with just the bride and groom, possibly with the wedding car.
I will then go to the reception to capture images of the table decorations and the cake. We will then fake the cake cutting.
I’ll do some more guest shots, hopefully capturing those people who were unable to make the ceremony.
And finally, if practical, I like to end my day with a projected slideshow of some of the images from the day.
Then I go and have a lie down, totally exhausted.
I hope you agree that this is a superb offer, which is fantastic value for money. I also hope you like my style of photography and I look forward to meeting you in person.
My kindest regards,
